[MassHistPres] Term preservation restrictions - examples needed!

Happy snowy Thursday, all!

Following up on my single building (and only building) LHD question, we have decided that an LHD is not the right way to go (yet!). We have decided that the best thing to do at this juncture is to work with the owner to get a 30-year term preservation restriction placed on the building that would allow for the owner to subdivide the land move the building but would ensure preservation of the building's exterior envelope. This would act as a stopgap until the land is subdivided, after which we would pursue a local historic district on the smaller, separate lot.

So - does anyone have an example of a term preservation restriction that they would be willing to share?

Thank you!

Best,
