The Weston Historical Commission is aware of a barn structure (WSN 1229)
within one of Weston's National Register Historic Districts that will be
dismantled soon to make way for a 40B project.
It measures approximately 42' x 62', dates to the mid 19th century and has
gun stock posts. It is built into a slope on one side, is 2-1/2 stories
tall, and still appears straight and true.
The developer will take the structure apart, label the pieces and even
transport them to a new site within a radius of 100 miles.
It is available to someone who can reuse the frame, preferably as a barn.
Please let us know if you have any interest or suggestions.
