I am looking for advice regarding the town common in the historic district here. Mass DOT has an agenda which includes a better traffic flow at the common’s intersection. It may very well affect the size of the common by taking quite a bit of land area. 
Please is there any advice.  The HDC has ‘control’ to preserve the historic nature of the district and common.
