Welcome to the Mobile Security and Privacy Research Lab (MobSP) in the department of Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Our research interests focus on usable security and privacy for mobile devices, smartphones, IoT devices, and vehicles. We design novel security and privacy schemes and systems using a wide range of emerging techniques including applied cryptography, differential privacy, machine learning, sensor data analysis, image and audio analysis, and usablity assessment. MobSP currently has three PhD students and is under the supervision of Dr. Xiaohui Liang.
