Date:

November 6, 2007

Time:

4 pm

Location:

UNIX Lab

Attendance:

Keith, Joelle, Tim, Pragna, & Swami

Agenda:

  • Review action items due this week on schedule
  • Finalize VC presentation
  • Present practice VC presentation

Description:

  • The majority of the time was spent on finalizing the VC presentation with Swami.  We used the presentation rating form as a guideline on what items needed to be added / augmented.  We then did a “mock” presentation.
  • We agreed that next week’s meeting would be used solely for a project update to determine our current status and how to proceed.
  • Keith & Tim (who are handling the UI portion of the project) agreed that developing an Eclipse plugin required too steep of a learning curve and would not be possible in the time allotted.   We informed Swami that we would be using a standalone JFace application and he agreed that this would be best.

Next Time:

  • Catch up on all items delayed from this week by the VC presentation.
  • Finalize the formal specification as much as possible (some done in advance by Tim)
  • Present initial UI created by Keith in JFace
  • Receive status update on development system and one step build procedure
  • Determine usage cases and assign to project members
