[MassHistPres] REMINDER: 2006 Preservation Award Nominations Due

REMINDER!  Submission of nominations for the Massachusetts Historical
Commission's  28th Annual Preservation Awards are due May 1, 2006!

The annual statewide preservation awards highlight outstanding achievements
by projects in the categories of adaptive reuse, restoration and
rehabilitation, landscape preservation, archaeology, and
education/outreach/media.  Individuals may also be nominated in the local
preservationist and lifetime achievement categories.   Nominated
projects/activities must have been completed between January 1, 2002 and
December 31, 2005. 

The MHC Preservation Awards are an opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate
outstanding recent accomplishments in historic preservation by individuals
and organizations.  Please pass on this reminder to preservation, planning
and advocacy groups in your community, or consider preparing a nomination
for activities that you feel merit statewide recognition.
