[MassHistPres] Architectural Shingles

All,

On Nantucket the HDC has been waivering in its support of architectual shingles (yes, the arch
style are more "wood shingle" like because they go up and down, but they also have some major
variations in color from shingle to shingle - while the 3-tab is flat and more even) in the
historic core. They have approved some arch shingles as full black as it doesn't make the roof
stand out. However in the out lying areas the HDC has approved other colors.

I would agree that three tabs are innocuous but I dont know how the HDC will continue to rule on
that issue.
