[MassHistPres] Interior Storm Windows

We have Innerglass storms in our house as well, but are looking for alternatives because we find them very difficult to install/remove and damaging to the trim paint. Perhaps the problem is with the installers (us), and not the product! However, we've also seen paint failure on the lower sashes, which may have been prevented had we taken Alison Hardy's advice to remove the storms in the summer.
Thanks to everyone for sharing their experience. I look forward to hearing more about WindowTherm.

We have found Innerglass interior storms to be easy to install and to
accomodate the out-of-square windows on our old house. They also reduce
outside sound quite a bit. Marcia Starkey, Greenfield
