Boston can designate individual Landmark interiors, provided that there
is public benefit. In other words, we stay away from interiors in
residential or other private use.

Subject: [MassHistPres] Interior Regulatory Authority
Is anyone aware of a municipality with regulatory authority over
interiors of national or local historic district properties?
Thank you for letting me know if such an unusual situation actually
exists.
