On two professional list services to which I subscribe I notice a significant increase in towns
seeking rfp's and rfq's for assessment and evaluation of architectural, cultural and historical
inventories. Is there recent grant monies for such work, or is this routine timely updating of
municipal materials? What is the explanation for this increase in activity?

Can anyone explain?

Thanks.
