Don't forget DCR's Historic Curatorship Program. We offer credit towards
long term leases for individuals/organizations in exchange for labor and
costs of rehabilitation and maintenance. We currently have 9 properties
that have been rehabilitated through the program. See our site at
www.mass.gov/dcr/stewardship/curator/index.htm for more info.

The old firehouse in Framingham is now being leased by an arts
foundation.
The head of the group did the same thing in an old firehouse in Natick.
That group is still running their non-profit group in the old firehouse
in
Natick.

This has been addressed more than once on this list serve. It would
be very helpful if Chris had one of his helpful lists of all the
examples that have been offered to the previous requests.

Northampton is beginning the process of restoring an 1873 cast iron
fountain which was once the centerpiece of the former Northampton
State Hospital. After reading the excellent posts regarding cast
iron fences, would any list members have any suggestions for
resources/restorers to refurbish our fountain. Any similar experiences?
Thanks,
