Please note: Registration required. Program is limited to 60 attendees.

Historic New England, the Boston Preservation Alliance and the
Charlestown Preservation Society are offering "A Masonry Primer", a
workshop for owners, condominium trustees, and property managers on
Saturday, November 3rd. 

The panel will discuss repairing, maintaining, or restoring nineteenth-
or twentieth-century brick, stone, cast-stone, and concrete, and answer
questions about pointing and repair, chimneys and fireplaces, and
preservation regulations. 

The panel of experts includes keynote speaker Matthew Bronski, senior
staff engineer at Simpson, Gumpertz, and Heger; Gary Russell, staff
architect at Boston Landmarks Commission, and Sally Zimmerman,
preservation specialist at Historic New England.
