Ah, this is very sad to hear.  Roger was indeed an instrumental force in
some of the earliest preservation efforts in Boston, as well as here in
Somerville.  He was a long-standing consultant to us, and to me
particularly in the 1980's when I was in charge of re-using old school
buildings and sites here in Somerville.  I was sorry to see him take off
for NYC, and now even sader to hear of his passing.  Thank you for
thinking to post this notice, Polly.
