Morss Hall, Walker Memorial Building at MIT, 142 Memorial Drive, Cambridge


Before MIT moved across the Charles River in 1916 from Boston to Cambridge, the

land it calls home was mostly vacant. Over the 20th century, this real estate
evolved into a mecca of academic and architectural excellence, with “the Infinite

Corridor” linking the campus to the community and, in turn, the global stage.
