[MassHistPres] Seeking historic building north of Boston for reuse

A good friend of mine is planning to start her own business (part 
retail, part studio space) in the next 6 months or so and is searching 
for an appropriate space to lease in northern Essex County / Middlesex 
County.  She is very preservation-minded and would love to lease and/or 
restore an existing historic building with good character rather than 
simply lease a cookie-cutter retail space.  She's looking for something 
approximately 1500-2500 SF with some decent open space inside -- perhaps 
a former schoolhouse, meetinghouse, town hall, barn, or even pumphouse 
-- whatever works!  She's open to a range of possibilities, especially a 
low-cost lease from a municipality, agency, or non-profit in exchange 
for restoring the building. 

I have already pointed her towards DCR's historic curatorship program 
but nothing on the list right now appears to be the right size or 
configuration.  If anyone knows of a building in need that sounds like a 
potential match, please let me know.  Thank you!
