i hope it is acceptable to share this information here.....
some of you may know about the Traditional Building Conference taking place next week (march 13 through 15, www.traditionalbuildingshow.com) at the Hynes Auditorium in Boston...our newly formed group THE NEW ENGLAND WINDOW RESTORATION ALLIANCE, will be hosting restoration demonstrations all three days and a seminar on sustainability on saturday--saving the OLD has always been green! please stop in to see us and introduce yourselves...we are committed to preserving wood windows and educating the public about the benefits of restoration over replacement...we offer 2-3 hour informational Q&A sessions for non-profits and historic commissions...we do not charge for the session but ask to be reimbursed for travel and over night accommodations where applicable...
thanks.....

Suzanne,
The information I have collected on historic plaque programs is not
currently available on line. However, I will soon have it available as
a pdf - perhaps as early as next week.

Lenox also is looking into such a program.
We would like to know if other Commissions allow polyurethane for the
sake of longevity or must plaques be wood?
Chris Skelly--do you still have a booklet with information and
pictures? Is it available on line?
