I recently received a review copy of the new edition of "Historic
Preservation: An introduction to its history, principles, and practice."
(It's also now available for sale.)
 
For those of you wishing to provide a broad overview of historic
preservation to new commission members and others in your community, this
may be a good choice to help orient them to the issues and opportunities
before diving into the specific issues in your communities.
