This is a great idea, Brian, as we in Somerville also need to update and
expand our design review guidelines and would appreciate benefitting
from others' experience and materials.

Subject: [MassHistPres] Design Guidelines
The Newton Historical Commission is working on a grant proposal to
update Newton's historic design guidelines. To that end I have been
scouring New England looking for examples and would like to request that
if you have design guidelines for your community and/or historic
districts you consider posting a web link to them in the National
Alliance of Preservation Commissions' online database.
http://www.uga.edu/napc/programs/napc/guidelines.htm
That way there will be one location where we all will be able to see
each other's guidelines and learn from them.
Thanks,
Brian Lever
