[MassHistPres] Historically Green Workshop-Sept. 30

Hello all-
    Given the recent discussions, I thought I would let you know about an event next week taking place in Albany, NY. This half-day workshop sponsored by Historic Albany will be presented next Wednesday, Sept. 30th and offers an unusual opportunity.  Walter Sedovic is a highly respected preservation architect who co-authored the 2005 APT article “What Replacement Windows Can’t Replace: The Real Cost of Removing Historic Windows.”  Please let the Historic Albany staff know if you intend to participate so that they can plan accordingly. HISTORICALLY GREEN
     A half-day, hands on conference demonstrating innovative technology applications to make historic and residential buildings greener and more energy efficient.  Presentations include geothermal heating systems, window insulation products, wall and ceiling insulation products, and techniques for sealing the envelope.
     AEP (Advanced Energy Panels) and NYSERDA are partnering with Historic Albany Foundation to present keynote speaker & preservation architect Walter Sedovic of Walter Sedovic Architects.
