yes, i worked with rob yagid of FHB on the article...please don't believe that a full restoration costs $200--i was misquoted and there should be a letter from me to that effect in the next issue...

doesn't it always work that way?  if there is an article on window restoration, the replacement folks are invited to comment...if there is an article on window replacement, rest assured restorers will not be given the same opportunity....

all in all, i think the article gave more credence to benefits of restoration over replacement and that is a very good thing!...

  It's an excellen article with a comment from Jade who I belive is on this listserv.  It still gives some service to the window makers - but at least seems somewhat "fair and balanced".
