[MassHistPres] windows

Suzanne,

You are up against the backbone of the window issue... When the seal fails,
the window has failed and it gets replaced...again!

Life expectancy is very, very different because a replacement window can be
any material. I seen windows replaced with vinyl, aluminum, aluminum clad
wood and to the other end of the spectrum, mahogany.

Different models from the same manufacturer in the same material will last
for different lengths of time too, one reason being differing installers
have different skills any levels of patience.

Does anyone know of an independent testing facility that can provide
accurate information on this issue?

Cheers,
Garrett
