ONLINE MHC INVENTORY FORMS NOW UNDERWAY
MHC has recently started to link pdfs of scanned inventory forms and
jpeg photos from MHCs files to its online MACRIS database. We are
working our way alphabetically backwards through the towns, and we will
be adding material to the site continuously as scanning continues. The
site itself has a number of new links explaining the features we have
added, so have a look at a "W" town to see how the new images and
interface work. Go to http://www.sec.state.ma.us/mhc/mhcidx.htm
<http://www.sec.state.ma.us/mhc/mhcidx.htm> and click on the Search
MACRIS Database link at the bottom of the middle column. If your town is
toward the beginning of the alphabet, have patience, we'll get to you!
We welcome your feedback and comments. Work on this project has been
supported in part by a competitively awarded Preserve America grant to
MHC from the Department of Interior, National Park Service.
