The Westport Town Farm is owned by the town and has been leased by the
Trustees of Reservations for 99 years in return for restoring the buildings,
maintaining the buildings and the farm, and opening to the public. The farm
produces food which is given to the needy and there is one affordable
housing unit in the old main house.
CPA funds have been used in cooperation with the Westport Land Trust and
Trustees of Reservations, and the Agricultural Trust Council to buy farms,
place restrictions and sell to farmers at very reasonable prices.
These are not town-owned.

Hello All!
Can anyone refer me to any town-owned farms in Massachusetts, perhaps
historic properties that the town/municipality acquired in one way or another?
Thanks!
