LEGAL NOTICE

CITY OF MEDFORD

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

WEST MEDFORD NEIGHBORHOOD

HISTORICAL PROPERTIES SURVEY

 

The City of Medford Historical Commission, by and through the City of
Medford, is seeking proposals from qualified historic preservation
consultants to undertake the "West Medford Neighborhood Historical
Properties Survey".  Proposals must be received at the Office of
Procurement, Medford City Hall, Room 105, 85 George P. Hassett Dr.,
Medford, MA  02155, on or before 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 5, 2011.

 

The Request for Proposals (RFP) containing scope of work, proposal
requirements and evaluation criteria, will be available upon request
Tuesday, September 6, 2011 after 11:00 AM in the City of Medford Office
of Procurement or by calling (781)393-2464 and requesting a copy by
mail.  The hours of operation are:  Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 8:30
A.M. - 4:30 PM, Wednesday, 8:30 A.M. - 7:30 P.M. and Friday, 8:30 A.M. -
12:30 P.M.

 

A pre-proposal conference has been scheduled for Monday, September 19,
2011 at 10:00 AM in Room 207, Medford City Hall.  All interested parties
are strongly urged to attend.

 

 Proposers must meet the following minimum qualifications; a Bachelor's
degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art
History, or a closely related field, plus at least two years full-time
experience in an area relevant to the project: or a Master's degree in
any of the above mentioned areas.
