[MassHistPres] Request for Proposals for West Concord Historic Resource Update

The Concord Historical Commission, by and through the Town of Concord, is seeking a qualified firm or firms to provide consultant services to assist the community in updating and expanding its existing Historic Resource Survey to include the neighborhoods and architectural resources of West Concord. Proposals must be received at the Office of the Finance Director, 22 Monument Square, Concord, MA 01742, on or before 3:00 P.M., Monday, August 13, 2012.
The RFP may be viewed and printed from the Concord Historical Commission’s webpage, www.concordma.gov/Pages/ConcordMA_HistComm/index, where it is listed as “Request for Proposals #286 - West Concord Historic Resource Survey Update.” Copies may also be picked up from the Concord Planning Division Offices at 141 Keyes Road, Concord, MA. Office hours are Monday - Thursday (8:00 am - 4:30 pm) and Friday (8:00 am - 12:00 pm). The Town of Concord reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the Proposal process, if deemed in the Town’s best interest.
Proposers must meet the following minimum qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art History, or a closely related field, plus at least two years full‑time experience in an area relevant to the project; or a Master’s degree in any of the above‑mentioned areas.
