Hi Dennis,
Sorry I've been away and didn't see your inquiry until now. In case you're still looking for feedback, Paul Eldrencamp, Byggmeister president, has made a personal focus on energy conservation and green construction and he's quite knowledgeable. I've known him for 15 years or so through nonprofit work we share and have worked with him and his company professionally on several projects. I found them very highly skilled managers and craftsmen. One other thought - he/they might be more experienced and interested in the highest-performance solutions, as opposed to the most economical, so the best fit of skill to task might relate - perhaps as always - to the project's cost constraints.

Dennis,
Very thorough! Very knowledgeable and in all the projects I've been involved with them (I count 69 since 1999) they have always been suggesting long term solutions for buildings and owners. Keep in mind that only a handful we were involved with could be called "energy related projects" but they again, were very thorough, knowledgeable and committed to getting things right for the long haul.
Cheers,
Garrett

I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who has worked with a firm called Byggmeister in Newton, re energy related issues. Economical alternate sources who can deal with a cathedral scaled space would also be of interest.
