I agree with Eric.
St. Barnabas and its rectory or parish house were lavishly built, largely with funds from the Beebe family of Highfield Hall.

The photo of the church is, I'm pretty sure, St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Falmouth.

For those interested, two out-of-staters -- one from R.I. and one from Mich. -- identified the "chapel" I had posted as Wheelwright's 1890 Parish House adjoining Henry Vaughan's St. Barnabas Church in Falmouth on rte. 28 opposite the green. See PICs at bottom. Half of us have probably driven past it at some time.
And now for something different -- not to say outright odd. The more you study it, the odder it seems. Anyone recognize it? -- possibly on a hillside or hill top site. Maybe by the sea.
And does anyone recognize this church -- note that it appears to have brick walls but the wood roof structure carries on down to the ground and appears independent of them. One thought was that its sparseness and the possible St. Andrews cross motif in the two apse windows, might suggest it was Presbyterian.
All thoughts on both mystery buildings welcomed.
