[MassHistPres] experience with Azek?

Jill,
We have installed Azek (and a few other) PVC trim boards in locations that
there's nearly no way to keep them dry! The problem (other than the cons of
PVC) is that the PVC expands and contracts at a much high rate than almost
all associated materials. Over time that creates all kinds of openings and
gaps. We did slate repairs for a GC on a project in Wellesley, MA where
they installed PVC trim on a long run and the contraction from the previous
winter pulled apart the glued connections and opened miters.
I would be concerned about the longevity of the installation...
Cheers,
Garrett Laws
