I have heard good things about J P Morality, and , a few years ago had some
fairly large (ca. 5" diamante) finials made by the Watertown people which
seem to be as good as the deteriorated 1903 models they replaced.

Subject: [MassHistPres] Recommendation for turners?
Looking for recommendations for custom turnings for some finials and drops
for an upcoming project. I am already in contact with JP Moriarty in
Somerville and Boston Turning Works in Watertown. Thoughts on or
experiences with either, and recommendations for others, greatly
appreciated.
