10:20 - 11:20         Neil Larson, Early Suburban Architecture in Newton, MA, 1830-1850
                             *45 minutes with 15 minutes for questions/discussion

11:20 - 12:00         Milda Richardson, Jonas Mulokas: Architecture Inspired by Lithuanian Vernacular and American Modernism
                             *30 minutes with 10 minutes for questions/discussion

12:00 - 12:30        ANNUAL MEETING (Members) ~ Secretary's Report; Treasurer's Report; Field Trip; Report; Board Nominations and Vote

12:00 - 1:30          LUNCH: Sit down and eat at an optional, informal lunch of sandwiches, drinks, etc, at the Oliver Wight Tavern Garden View Room (right next door to the Conference Center), available for $20/person.  Other options are also available at the museum.

1:30 - 2:10            Arron Sturgis, Early African-American Meetinghouses of New England

2:20 - 3:00           Catherine Zipf, Mapping Colonial Newport:  The Challenges and Triumphs of Digital Research
                                   *30 minutes with 10 minutes for questions/discussion
2014 VAF National Conference: The 34th VAF National Meeting, Down Jersey: From Bayshore to Seashore<http://www.vernaculararchitectureforum.org/conferences/current.html>, Galloway Township, New Jersey from May 7-10, 2014, will focus on the vernacular architecture and landscapes of southern New Jersey from ca. 1700 to 2000, including sites in Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland and Salem counties. Directions: Old Sturbridge Village is located in the town of Sturbridge, MA, near the intersection of Route 90 (the Massachusetts Turnpike) and Route 84. Take Route 90/Mass Pike to Sturbridge exit 9.  After paying the toll, take the first right (Route 20 west). Follow signs to OSV, making a right onto the jug-handle to get into the Village. There's ample parking in the Village lot.  From the parking lot, follow the sidewalk between the Tavern/Bookstore (on the left) and Visitors Center (on the right) to the Fuller Conference Center (just beyond the Visitors Center, on the right).
