Chris,
We have discussed creating a "significance" rubric to try to develop a
clear-cut way of determining significance, but we never followed through
with this. We do not usually need to defend our decision whether to call
something significant or not, but without a defined protocol, it can be
questionable sometimes. Knowing how others determine significance or if
someone has developed a system for it would be helpful.
