LEGAL NOTICE
CITY OF BOSTON
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

The Boston Landmarks Commission, by and through the City of Boston, is
seeking proposals from qualified historic preservation consultants to
undertake the second phase of a survey of Boston’s North End neighborhood,
resulting in new or updated inventory forms for approximately 130
properties.

The Request for Proposals (RFP), containing scope of work, proposal
requirements, and evaluation criteria, will available after 9:00 am,
Monday, July 21, 2014 at the City of Boston Environment Department, Boston
City Hall, Room 709, Boston, Massachusetts 02201 or by contacting Tonya
Loveday, Assistant Survey Director, by e-mail or telephone at
tonya.loveday at boston.gov or (617) 635-3850.

Proposers must meet the following minimum qualifications: a Bachelor’s
degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art
History, or a closely related field, plus at least two years full time
experience in an area relevant to the project; or a Master’s degree in any
of the above mentioned areas.

Proposals must be received at the City of Boston Environment Department,
Boston City Hall, Room 709, Boston, Massachusetts 02201 on or before 5:00
pm, Friday, August 22, 2014. Environment Department office hours: Monday –
Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Questions regarding the RFP must be written and either e-mailed to
tonya.loveday at boston.gov or faxed to (617) 635-3435.

The City of Boston reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to
waive any informalities in the Proposal process, if deemed in the City’s
best interest.
