[MassHistPres] RFP for Proposals for the Transfer, Reuse and Redevelopment of the Nichewaug Inn in Pertersham

The town of Petersham has issued a RFP for proposals for the transfer,
reuse and redevelopment of the Nichewaug Inn, a property located in the
Petersham Common Historic District which is also listed on the National
Register of Historic Places. The Nichewaug Inn was also listed on
Preservation Massachusetts' Most Endangered Resource List in 2003.

The former inn, a shingle style building built in 1899, has a 1950s brick
veneer addition and is a unique property.

Access to the insect the interior of the building will be allowed on
December 9 and proposals need to be received by the Board of Selectman by
January 30, 2015.
