Yes indeed, it does.
And it's important that you notify Mass Historical Comm of your concerns as
well. A 40B project is subject to review by MHC to determine that there is
"no adverse effect" on an historical resource from the project . They will
work with the developer to mitigate the damage, which hopefully would mean
no demolition. See the State Review section at this

Support letters to MHC from community, preservation groups, and state
elected officials as well as publicity about the importance of the
building are very helpful in strengthening MHC's position.
