CITY OF WORCESTER
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS – HISTORIC PRESERVATION PROGRAM PLAN
RFP # 6412-W5

The City of Worcester, in coordination with the Worcester Historical Commission, is seeking proposals from qualified historic preservation consultants to undertake the “Historic Preservation Program Plan.” Proposals must be received at the Purchasing Office, City Hall, 455 Main Street, Room 201, Worcester, MA 01608, on or before 10:00 am, Wednesday, September 23, 2015.

The City of Worcester reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality in the Proposal process, if deemed in the City’s best interest.

The Request for Proposals (RFP), containing scope of work, proposal requirements, and evaluation criteria, will be/is available upon request after 10:00 am, Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at the Purchasing Office, City Hall, 455 Main Street, Room 201, Worcester, MA 01608.  Additionally, the RFP may be viewed and printed under the open bids link on the City’s website at http://www.worcesterma.gov/e-services/bids/open-bids.

Proposers must meet the following minimum qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art History, or a closely related field, plus at least two years full‑time experience in an area relevant to the project; or a Master’s degree in any of the above‑mentioned areas.
