Well, I know of a beautiful little Queen Anne but it's in Osterville on Cape
Cod. That's a really long move. If you're still interested, let me know.

I was recently contacted by an individual who owns land and is looking to
acquire an ?unwanted/endangered? historic house which she can have moved to
her property. She is looking for a structure built prior to 1950 and is open
to a variety of sizes and styles including small cottages, bungalows, capes
etc. If you know of such a house, please contact me at
scaplanson at preservationmass.org and I will be happy to pass on your
information. Thanks for your help.

Hello,
The City of Brockton is looking into the process, creation and
implementation of a Demolition Delay ordinance. If anyone has had experience
in working on such an ordinance, know of a current Massachusetts' Demo Delay
Ordinance that is in effect and in a system that works, or any other
information regarding where to start (timeline) of such a process, we'd
greatly appreciate. Brockton is looking to ramp up its historic preservation
efforts in our City Ordinance. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Shane O'Brien

Stacia, how does she plan to move a historic house to her property? If this
is more than just a mile or two away, how can the building be moved intact?
Is she planning on taking apart the building, putting the pieces in a
trailer and reassembling? Chris.
