Earlier this spring the Massachusetts Historical Commission awarded Fiscal Year 2015 Survey and Planning Grants to 19 projects in communities across the Commonwealth. Local project coordinators have been working with MHC staff to finalize their project scopes, and in the upcoming weeks the grantee communities will initiate their Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from qualified consultants to undertake project work. This process will include announcing the availability of their RFPs to this listserv. We're pleased to be supporting these critically needed historic preservation planning efforts around the state:

Boston - Boston Landmarks Commission, North End Survey, Phase III
Bourne - Bourne Historic Properties Survey Update
Brockton - Downtown Brockton Preservation Planning Project

Based on the MHC grant cycle, all the projects will be looking for proposals from qualified consultants to complete project work over the period September 2015 to June 2016.
