Ta Mara did the restoration of 250+ grave markers dating from the 17th to
19th centuries in the Hancock Cemetery in Quincy in 2014. She did a
fantastic job and was great to work with. I highly recommend her.

Has anyone worked with Tamara Conde of Historic Gravestone Services? Would
you recommend her?

I have worked extensively with Ta Mara and I can't think of a harder working
and more dedicated preservationist and stone mason. She is in such demand
these days because of her superior work that you will be fortunate to have
her help.

Earlier this week the Pittsfield Historical Commission signed off on the
demolition of an 1880's era carriage house built consistent with a Queen
Anne style house. The property owner has agreed to allow interested parties
to salvage materials from the structure, which includes a largely intact
slate roof. However, the property is proposed to be demolished in the near
future. If you are aware of any interested parties, please feel free to
have them contact me by Friday, November 27. I do have photos that I am
happy to share. I will forward the contact information of interested
parties to the property owner.
Happy Thanksgiving,
