Hopkinton / Southborough have three dry laid stone arch bridges circa 1840 that are composed primarily of fieldstone rather than cut stone. I am writing a CPA grant application for restoration of the bridge in Hopkinton and want to make attribution to the scarcity of this typology. Can anyone represent how many of these bridges of this date or earlier exist in the US?
FYI, for those who responded to an earlier query I made last month, we've agreed to hire Structures North to develop the preliminary assessment study. So thanks for your input.
Regards,
....Mike
