Hello all,
The Town of Framingham is working to scan all old paper files across all departments, boards, and commissions. We are trying to come up with a clear, efficient system for organizing the files of the Historical Commission and Historic District Commission. Right now, the files of the two Commissions are separate; they had no staff support until a few years ago, so Commission chairs just kept the files at their house. I would love to hear from any other municipalities that have digitized their Historical or Historic District Commission files, especially information on how you organized and labeled the files.
Any input is appreciated!
Jenn
