LEGAL NOTICE

 

TOWN OF WEST SPRINGFIELD

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP # 16-0035)

HISTORICAL PROPERTIES SURVEY

 The West Springfield Historical Commission, by and through the Town of West
Springfield, is seeking proposals from qualified historic preservation
consultants to undertake the "West Springfield Community-wide Historic
Properties Survey."  

 Proposals must be received at the Accounting Office, West Springfield Town
Hall, 26 Central Street, Suite 1, West Springfield, Massachusetts
01089-2750, on or before 10:00 am, Friday, August 12, 2016.

Proposers must meet the following minimum qualifications: a Bachelor's
degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art
History, or a closely related field, plus at least two years full time
experience in an area relevant to the project; or a Master's degree in any
of the above mentioned areas.

 The Town of West Springfield reserves the right to reject any and all bids
or to waive any informalities in the Proposal process, if deemed in the
Town's best interest.
