[MassHistPres] Waltham: Hire land surveyor consultant

Good morning -

Just to clarify on this issue.  Kyle Zick Landscape Architecture (KZLA) is a landscape architecture firm with expertise in documenting and designing for historic and cultural landscapes.  While we are developing our capabilities for aerial photography/aerial site feature inventories, we are not the best qualified firm to take on a project such as what was proposed.

We responded to Pamela Lyons of the Waltham Historical Commission that they might be better served with a surveying or photography firm.  We recommended  contacting Stephen Wilkes at Feldman Land Surveyors (swilkes at feldmansurveyors.com<mailto:swilkes at feldmansurveyors.com>, (781) 901-3461).  While without knowing what in-house aerial photography capabilities they have developed, they have been working with different aerial photography companies, and may be able to provide additional information, resources or contacts.

Pamela -

KZLA - Kyle Zick Landscape Architecture - does aerial photography with their drone directed from an Ipad.  They have all the tools to integrate imagery into maps, too.   I suggest reaching out to Stephanie Weyer to see if this would be the optimal solution for getting the survey you need.
