REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) PROJECT TO RESTORE AND RESET GRAVESTONES FOR CEDARVILLE CEMETERY

The Town of Sandwich is seeking proposals from qualified conservation technician and stone craftsmen to complete the restoration of gravestones in the
Cedarville Cemetery located in Sandwich, MA.

The scope of this project shall include the restoration of 135 gravestones, and the restoration of the H.T. Wing tomb, in accordance with a Preservation Master Plan recently completed by the Town. This Plan is included as an Exhibit to the RFP. The work will be completed in the spring and summer of 2017.

The RFP document can be obtained by calling Sandwich Town Hall at (508) 888-5144 or by e-mailing DLapp at townofsandwich.net. E-mail requests are strongly preferred. All interested parties must submit eight (8) hardcopies, and one electronic copy, of their proposal containing complete information as requested in the RFP no later than October 24, 2016, at 10:00am. Proposals not received by the above deadline will be returned unopened and will not be considered by the Town of Sandwich. The successful proposer will be required to execute a contract in substantially the form included in the RFP.

The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any informalities in the proposals, and to award a contract in a manner that best serves the
interests of the Town.
