[MassHistPres] Upcoming Preservation Workshops in Salem

The Salem Historical Commission and the Salem Preservation Partners are sponsoring two free workshops in May to celebrate National Preservation Month:

Workshop for Historic Homeowners - "Restoring and Maintaining Your Historic House"
Saturday, May 6th 9am-12pm at St. Joseph Hall (Salem Maritime Site), 160 Derby Street, Salem

Workshop for Historical Commissions, Historic District Commissions and Other Stewards of Historic Buildings - "Contemporary Challenges for Historic Buildings"
Tuesday, May 16th 6:30pm-8pm at The House of the Seven Gables, 115 Derby Street.  Free tours of the Gables' "secret room" are available to participants beginning at 5:30pm.
