[MassHistPres] Leading Locally: Preservation Management Strategies That Work

Historic New England is pleased to present a series of three workshops on "Leading Locally: Preservation Management Strategies That Work" on Friday, May 19, Friday, June 2 and Friday, June 19 at Merwin House, 14 Main Street, Stockbridge, Mass.

This three-part series is designed for historic district and historical commission chairs and members, local planners, historical societies, Community Preservation Act committee members, and others charged with managing historic resources at the local level. Each workshop will provide for audience discussion around current challenges confronting local preservation advocates.

Workshop topics are:
Design Review Concepts, Cases and Issues, May 19, 9 AM - 3:30 PM
Introduction to Establishing and Administering Preservation Restrictions, June 2, 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Caring for Municipal, Museum, and Other Non-Profit Historic Properties, June 19, 9:00 - 3:30 PM
