Hello Chris -
I am not quite sure this is what you have in mind, but wanted to bring
it to your attention as The National Endowment for The Arts has noted
the workshop below and given our contact information as an example of
community education.
At the Boston Public Library/East Boston branch we have done a series
of workshops concerning our wonderful 1937 WPA series Ships Through
The Ages, Frederick Leonard King, artist. The topics have included
the history of the maritime heritage of the community and the WPA; art
conservation and chemistry, and a demonstration of in-painting. The
series was first done in the local high school, and will be offered in
the community this spring.
