REQUEST FOR  PROPOSALS 
18-0191 

Medford Square  South 
Historic Properties  Survey 


The City of Medford (City) is seeking proposals from qualified historic  
preservation consultants to undertake an intensive-level, neighborhood survey 
of  cultural and architectural resources of East Medford in the City of  
Medford. 
Requests for Proposals will be available at no cost, beginning Monday, July 
24, 2017 at the Purchasing  Office, Room 105, Medford City Hall, 85 George 
P. Hassett Dr., Medford, MA  02155, 781-393-2465, or electronically  by 
emailing Erin Carson at ecarson_ at medford-ma_ (mailto:skhan at medford-ma.gov) 
_.gov_ (mailto:skhan at medford-ma.gov) _._ (mailto:skhan at medford-ma.gov)    
Proposers must meet the following minimum qualifications: a Bachelor’s  
degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art History, 
or  a closely related field, plus at least two years full-time experience in 
an area  relevant to the project; or a Master’s degree in any of the 
abovementioned  areas. 
Sealed Proposals will be received until 2 pm on Thursday, August 24, 2017  
at the Purchasing Office, Room 105, City Hall, 85 George P. Hassett Dr.,  
Medford, MA 02155. 
Questions regarding this Request for Proposals must be  written and either 
e-mailed, to Erin Carson at _ecarson at medford-ma.gov_

The City reserves the right to reject all proposals, in whole or in part,  
as determined to be in the best interests of the City and to waive minor  
informalities.
