AMHERST PASSES NEW LOCAL HISTORIC DISTRICT
Amherst Town Meeting overwhelmingly passed its second local historic district, by a vote of 172-18. The new North Prospect-Lincoln-Sunset Local Historic District is a residential district located adjacent to downtown Amherst. It encompasses approximately 200 properties.

WELLESLEY PASSES DEMOLITION DELAY
Following several efforts over the past few years, Wellesley town meeting successfully passed a 12 month demolition delay bylaw during annual town meeting. There are now 150 cities and towns in Massachusetts with a demolition delay bylaw or ordinance.
