[MassHistPres] Design guidelines for ductless HVACsystems

The Salem Historical Commission is currently reviewing several applications to install new ductless HVAC systems on historic buildings.  These systems include both condenser units, often on raised platforms, and exterior duct pipes.  The Commission's existing Design Guidelines do not include guidance for these types of installations and we are looking for examples of guidelines developed by other Commissions to limit the visual impacts of these systems on historic buildings.
