The Town of Pelham has been using CPA funds to assist the Town Clerk to preserve and digitize the oldest most used Town Records. The first to be preserved were not the oldest (1743) but the fragile files whose pages must be turned (by the Clerk, with white gloves) and are most used today. Each year the Clerk identifies the next group to be preserved.

> Town clerk in Hull is looking for CPA funds to restore town documents. The historical Commission has to evaluate a criteria to deem such documents as historical. Have other historical commissions or Community Preservation Committees or towns gone thru this process already?
